Cudgel advocate-If you need any "go-bys" for the artist, let me know. I have a ton. Lil sister-good for you and your fine tinymeat purchase! Rozanne-I will refrain from boasting that my dahlias are bigger than yours for fear of sounding like a guy with a blog... Rigo, STevie, Mikey, Brett-thanks! and Geekgirl, check the sassy gardener blog next week for some advice on that dern powdery mildew. Even my WEEDS have it. Sigh.

I love dahlias too. But please tell us Lelo, what do we do about Powdery Mildew?
Call Ed Hume. Is he still around out there?
your summer is ever so beautiful.
Like a burst of sunshine, pretty.

My one measly dahlia plant has blooms about the size of oreo cookies. Still pretty, but there's something to be said for huge gigantic flowers.
niiiiiiiice! excellent backlighting too :)
btw, I bought me some tiny meat, and it's all your fault ;-)
