Texans Scare Me

Drunks with guns: U loot we shoot.
Nice.
A pack of drunk white guys with guns. And a golf cart.

You go, Texas.
(egads)

Props to Ja'AmLo of Gay Hill Texas for sending that fine fine photo.

And they're proud of it.

I'm speechless.

I hate to condemn a whole state out of hand, but, gosh, Texas really seems to ask for it.

I'd have to say whatever works. I doubt you will see anybody walking out of a house with a Plasma TV. If the government cannot protect its citizens, then it is up to the citizens to protect themselves. This is a joke picture, but I doubt you’d see anybody going into this neighborhood looking for an easy job.

Maybe if they had some drunks with guns in New Orleans there wouldn't have been as much needless looting and fires there.

I hope the "drunk" part was tongue-in-cheek, but the "U loot we shoot" mantra continues to protect lives and property all across the hurricane-devastated areas from Texas to Florida--check the news sites; this isn't the only spray-painted sign out there. In a perfect world, nobody would need guns, but this ain't a perfect world. The Second Amendment is in there for a very good reason.

Drunks and guns - or idiots and guns - do not belong together. That's a recipe for trouble.

My question for the above 3 posters and others with similar sentiments: If we require people to pass a test before they can obtain a driver's license why do we not require people to meet similar requirements before they can own a gun? With rights come responsibility.

Before you throw stones and call me names, you should know that I come from a long line of gun-owners.

I live in Texas and don't own a gun. I don't need one. I live on a cattle ranch too. These assclowns, in the city, are dangerous.

Oh, I doubt that they're really drunk--it's a funny picture, that's all (and it's inspired by a similar sign someone erected down in New Orleans). As a responsible gun owner and user, I'm quite opposed to drinking and shooting--they don't go together at all. But as someone with a sense of humour, I find the pic quite hilarious:-)
