A Kansas Farmer
A Kansas farmer, my Grandpa Joe died last week, and while I search for words and memories to share, my uncle, a columnist for the Duluth News Tribune, says it just like I would, if I was so eloquent. You can read his column about Joe here: take a moment, really, to read a lovely and touching piece.

I'm so sorry to read about the loss of your grandfather. My heart goes out to you.
Such a beautiful tribute....both your Uncle's column and your photos. Joe obviously had a wonderful life and family. You should be proud to be his grandaughter and carrying on his gardening traditions.

Oh Lelo your uncle did a marvelous job on that article. It brought tears to my eyes. I lost my Grandpa ten years ago and still miss him. You have been blessed to have such a special man in your life. And you drove a tractor. Man am I jealous!

What a privilege to have known a man like Grandpa Joe. I'm sorry to say I never really got to know either of my grandfathers.
