The memories of my hair in the 80's

This time of year invites reflection. The best, the worst. The biggest, the baddest. Blah blah blah. Me? I'm fondly going down memory lane of high school photos. Would you like to come along? Oh I know you would.
Oh the memories of high school
This one I give you as demonstration of hair. Many of the pictures will be about demonstration of hair. But this one in particular is pretty good to kick us all off. This hair? This hair took work, people. Sebastian hair spray and wielding the hot and cold set button on my blowdryer helped me get this look for Sadie Hawkins. At Sadie Hawkins dances we dressed twinsies. As you can see here. Product placement for coke? Probably. But don't miss my watch. It was a little Volkswagen Beetle. That would be because my date there drove one. How sweet, huh? But back to the hair. That much hairspray left a layer of sticky residue all over the bathroom floor. Mom loved that. I'm sure she'll pipe in on this one, won't you mom?

That hair looks positively dangerous. I hope he didn't get spiked and lose an eye when going in for the goodnight smooch.

Those shirts are so gay, words escape me.

Those socks...nevermind.

And his shoes!!! Could he have found any that were more dirty to wear out in public? I'm so glad you dumped him.

Oh my. You were so rocking the big bangs trend. :) Ah, the good old days, where fixing our hair required an entire bottle of hairspray!

I remember how cool those Coke shirts were too, but the watch takes the cake! So.Very.Funny!!!

I must say, I miss the 80's hair. MY hair was Fab-u-lous in the 80's, you should have seen how big my bangs were, huge!

oh my god. The bangs. Wow. I admit in the late 80s I teased my bangs, but only slightly and luckily only one picture survives today of that short period of bang teasing. But don't ask about the time my mother ogilve permed my bangs. Still hurts to talk about it.

Your bang are so high, I am in awe. I never could reach that height with mine. And is that blue eyeshadow, eyeliner AND blue mascara?

Ah yes, the bathroom floor. The yellow vinyl tiles never did come up when I stepped on them but it was close. No need to wax the floor, LeAnn kept a haze on it. When you moved out I spent some time with a putty knife in there, or maybe it was a blowtorch! Memories!
Hugs, Mom

I didn't know that you knew Michael Jackson.

It is a small world after all.
