I live in the suburbanish greater seattle area and have over a foot of snow & ice at my house. And I got a call yesterday afternoon that my workplace is going to be open regular hours today. No idea how the hell I'm going to get there or if I will even be able to move my car out of its parking spot. But hey, at least my boss wants me to drive carefully!
And to think a little over a week ago I was actually hoping for snow. The PNW is simply not equipped to handle this kind of weather. One of the bloggers I read is referring to it as Snowmageddon 2008, and I think that about covers it!
Got you beat, Lelo! We have 17 to 18 inches here in SW 'burbs of Portland. It's crazy, simply crazy! And supposedly we'll get 1-3 inches more of the stuff tomorrow. Enough! I left the Midwest behind years ago and I really don't want its weather following me here.

I never thought I'd be so happy to see rain again. Isn't this pretty white stuff something!

Wow. That makes Kansas and 3.5 inches look sweet. Then again, we're at 1 degree out, not including wind chill! Curl up and enjoy the holidays!
Isn't that kind of a lot of snow for where you live?

It looks like you're in Southwestern Ontario.
We have a lot more snow than we normally have. It looks like February here.
