I work with photographers, and stock photography. Quite a bit. I take photos for projects too. But I'm constantly irritated with overstyled photos of beautiful people. It doesn't feel authentic. It doesn't look REAL. I want real stuff, real people, real stories. That's why I often take the photos. What do real people look like? This artist set out to find out, and look what he found....a wonderful cultural window to look through.

And what do real dogs look like? We shall soon find out my friend, we shall find out...
DOH! I know who you are! Yes, we shall see, won't we? And there will be photos to prove it!
Lurker!
Lurker? That sounds so, somehow, bad. I'm a lover, not a lurker. And you have no idea who I am. I just happen to own a REAL dog who is not afraid to show his svelte body to the world. Soon, everyone will know.
Egad, got to be back to those crunches. And that botox. Can you imagine the wrinkles that masiff's get? I will spare nothing for the sake of beauty. Including sequins.
Yep they look real, I like real too. Airbrush, nada.
I like to take people photos in black/white so that I get the 'real' person. Color, in all its glory, seems to lose the personality for me.
This is one of the best things I've seen in awhile! Thanks for posting it. Love these images -- especially the way they're grouped. Found you via "Hot Toddy's Toaster Oven," so thank him for the plug. Cheers!
