What to do with cherry tomatoes: a very complicated recipe

Cherry tomatoes
1. Pick
2. Rinse
3. Eat

If still standing in the garden, you may omit Step #2.

Buen provecho!

I'm almost doing that right now -- picked, rinsed and put into a salad to eat. I swear they were ripening as I was picking them -- every time I turned around there were more red ones.

Is there a way to possibly skip even step #1? Like just maybe reach out to the vine with your mouth and take it that way? The strong scent of the green vines is amazing too! Yummy.

For the first 40ish years of my life I hated tomatoes, now I can't get enough of them.

With this recent heatwave, my moby's are finally ripening! And you're absolutely right, I skip #2, for they haven't made it into the kitchen yet.

My favorite recipe would be,
1. pick
2. rinse
3. salt
4. eat

excellent "recipe". I often eat mine the exact same way (minus the picking part: just buy them at the store.

I lived in Israel for a month and my host father was a professional tomato grower: amazing times ;)

I've eaten all of mine just like that (without step 2) -- two at a time, as I'm walking into or out of my apartment. they're right outside the back door, taking over like crazy. happiness.
