All of these things happened in one day. The annual watching of National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation...
The first major snow in Portland of the season...
Wink's first snow with us...
(which, by the way, it should be noted that she totally loves the snow)
And Sopa de Albondigas...a tasty Mexican soup perfect for cold days....

Aaah. And there you have it. The ingredients for a perfect Sunday Winter afternoon. Enjoy!
Is that moss around AdRi's face?...
Se coneglon mis juevos!
I've always wanted to make that soup. I loves me a soup with meatballs in it! Can I use ground beef instead of (ick) turkey?
Sure does sound like a great Sunday all around!
It looks like moss around AdRi's face, but actually it's an amazing scarf that's knit in a tube, and you can stretch it out and put the whole thing over your head and around your neck, and if you want, you can pull the back portion up and over your head. When I do that I look like a turtle. But it's very soft and warm!
Blog portland, I have no idea what coneglon is. But I know you're saying something about your eggs. Hmmm.
Rozanne, definitely try the soup. It's really good. You can use beef instead of course. Or ground chicken I'm sure too. The soup is even better the next day.
STB; it was a great Sunday, thanks! And I'm very much enjoying your stories and photos on Sundays!
Wink is so, so cute!
I'm totally making turkey albondigas!
Coneglon = frozen.
