It's a fine line with garden ornaments

We've all seen them. Too many gnomes. The cutout of the lady in bloomers bending over tending her garden. Giant butterflies that magically land on garage doors.

You'll be relieved to know these won't be making it in our garden this year, though I did see these recently and couldn't help but take photos for you my dear readers. Just when you think you've seen it all...
Classy!
Keep it classy with garden ornamentation

where some things may seem over the top... what am I saying, I love things over the top as long as it is not in my years.

I do love the otter, though.

Oh, man. I once had a plaster Athena on an upended purple milk crate in my yard. I thought I could do tacky. This is...something else!

Lelo, These are definitely over the top...down the other side and into La la Land. There is a garden picture book on tacky garden art. I wish I could think of its name. [Library] These photos look like they're straight out of its pages. The one I remember most is an Elvis lookalike called "Pelvis." Hilarious book. I'll have to look for it next time I'm at the library. Did you see my "Freda B. Me"? She's a little out there too.
