Spring smells so good

smells so good
Deep inhale, and relax. Spring is here, and look at this, smells so good. Needed something pretty to look at and found this blooming its head off out in the garden. Clippity clip clip, now it's inside. Or a very small part of it is.

Finished painting the living room yesterday. Love it. Saw the light come through the window just so yesterday and snappity snap snap: got this for you.

It's rich and thick and pretty. The paint itself looked like melted chocolate ice cream as we poured it into the pan.

Happy Monday peeps!
goodbye orange, hello chocolate milk

Simply beautiful. All of it. I'm envious of you artist types and your eye for beauty. Thanks for sharing.

a deep inhale of spring here is likely to get you a snoot full of pollen ;) wow, paint seems so final and near the end, I think I'm going to miss your remodel....

Lovely color. You've got great taste...want to give me some advice for my walls? I desperately need to paint and didn't get the 'gay decorator gene'.

I'll bet it feels great to have the painting done--real progress.

I love the color. I think the actual name of the shade (at least according to my computer monitor) is: Melted Ben & Jerry's White Russian, the Best Ice Cream Flavor Ever Produced Now Sadly Discontinued. It will, however, live on in your living room.

Thanks for that.

Oh fellow hort-head bemused, I wish I knew which viburnum it is. It was one of the few items here before we bought the place. It's lovely, isn't it? And the fragrance? Decadent....speaking of fragrance, I need a daphne!

Yes, purpletwinkie, thank you for the advice and suggestions regarding the paint color. You were patient through many IMs about options. I believe you chose this one for your bedroom, however.

Oh Lee, I'm sorry about your allergies.

And finally, Rozanne, you hit the nail on the head about the ice cream description.

Ah, well, thanks all the same. I guess I'll just have to go around sticking my nose into sweet-smelling shrubs to find the one I want. Not a bad way to go plant shopping...
