After years of yearning, I finally bought a witch hazel. 'Arnold Promise' lured me all the way from the nursery's front door with his fragrant, golden yellow, starburst flowers. I couldn't help myself! And I ain't gonna regret succumbing to his charms.

You mean that's the clear liquid that I wipe over my face sometimes or smear on cuts or wounds to make it all better? Wow. It's so pretty!
I noticed mine blooming today!!! I haven't walked into my back yard in ages and today I was out there and saw it's little bloom--yeah!
hahaha. Thanks for your poem. It warmed me right up.
