What a sweet, sweet weekend

Aaaaahhhhh. That's the sound of a little rest and relaxation after a busy but fun weekend. Now that the remodel is done, we're entertaining a bit, and it's getting fun. Here are a few pic's from late this afternoon, watering the garden as they say heat is coming our way. Ginger and Wink were too cute to not grab the camera. I'm glad I did...
On the front steps, Ginger was "on guard" but mainly supervising.

She even posed for a portrait in the garden. (Doesn't she look like a little chewbaca? I saw a guy in the grocery store with a t-shirt that said: Party Like Chewbaca. Wished I had the camera for that.)
I'm ready for my portrait
Aah, the sisters hangin' out in the gravel path.
It's a dog day afternoon in the garden

Nothing like some cute pupper pics to brighten my first day back of the work-week!

The remodel is done? Really truly done? If so, you must be completely thrilled and relieved. If not, sorry I brought it up :)

The dogs are adorable and your garden is just lovely -- from what I can see. It looks like an oasis. Very nice. I too enjoyed the long weekend. Although 3 days is just not enough.

That garden looks so amazingly lush! And the remodel is done! And the dogs are too cute! Yay!

(having two gmail accounts makes posting comments confusing...)

Really lush! Almost jungle-like.

I was out watering yesterday, too. I'm sure glad I did. Shit, it was hot out today.

Lelo, your garden is so lush and green and lovely! I'll be right over with a cool drink and a book to read while I sit on that inviting bench.

I love those "pot feet" - quirky and creepy all at once.

Hello, Ginger and Wink, you are too, too cute (there should be a law).

LELO (& Adri):
The picture of the yard seemed AMAZING, dense, dark GREEN, lovely...OK, yes, the dogs are cute...yes yes, BUT: I am HOPING we get to see MORE of what you two have done with your yard. Ours seems so rough and primitive all of a sudden. I would think my vegetable garden is out of farmland where nothing is quite so perfectly planned. And it is........nothing close to well planned. Thanks for lovely pictures and a great post. WINK's cute. When does WINK get to play with 3-year old 90 pound MAC ?
