Is this like having a dinner party and then dragging out the slide carousel of vacation photos?

pyramid at chichen itza
It might be. But the good thing at this dinner party is that you don't have to click through unless you want to see photos taken of the ancient Mayan ruins of Chichen Itza, and Tulum...
ruins meet the ocean in tulum
...and Mexican street scenes...
bicycling
...and of course crazy blue water...
from the ruins at tulum
...or to see some of the art we brought back...
folk art we bought
And in case you're interested in seeing more, I've made a set here on flickr.

Beautiful pictures! I want to come back and look at them a little more when I'm not watching the clock.

Fantastic.....I love the colors, textures. Love the bike riders in front of the beautiful colored building.

Those ruins! My sister went to Tulum a year or two ago and loved it. I've been wanting to go ever since. And those beaches. Wow!

It really looks like you got the right balance of sightseeing, shopping, hanging out at the beach, and relaxing. Also, those enchiladas look to die for!
