I never thought I'd be so happy to see rain again. Isn't this pretty white stuff something!
You are not in Lacey WA we have 2 feet of the stuff.
I live in the suburbanish greater seattle area and have over a foot of snow & ice at my house. And I got a call yesterday afternoon that my workplace is going to be open regular hours today. No idea how the hell I'm going to get there or if I will even be able to move my car out of its parking spot. But hey, at least my boss wants me to drive carefully! And to think a little over a week ago I was actually hoping for snow. The PNW is simply not equipped to handle this kind of weather. One of the bloggers I read is referring to it as Snowmageddon 2008, and I think that about covers it!
Wow. That makes Kansas and 3.5 inches look sweet. Then again, we're at 1 degree out, not including wind chill! Curl up and enjoy the holidays!
Isn't that kind of a lot of snow for where you live?
Got you beat, Lelo! We have 17 to 18 inches here in SW 'burbs of Portland. It's crazy, simply crazy! And supposedly we'll get 1-3 inches more of the stuff tomorrow. Enough! I left the Midwest behind years ago and I really don't want its weather following me here.
It looks like you're in Southwestern Ontario. We have a lot more snow than we normally have. It looks like February here.
