Oh my...that is just SO wrong! I'm always taken aback at the strange ways people prune things - then again, I'm so bad at it, I just avoid pruning altogether!
Yeah, I don't get it. I guess people are trying to go for symmetry, but it always ends up slightly off or way off, which makes the effect all the more jarring and appalling. Better not to prune at all than to end up with a pair of asymmetrical (ass-ymmetrical?) buttocks. That's what I say.
