Phew! I just flew in tonight into PDX and I don't think I needed a plane. It was probably the most turbulent descent I've ever encountered, with lots of side-to-side action. At one point I thought I was going to fly out of my seat. I wonder how many more flights they'll let come in/go out tonight. Everyone, batten down the hatches. It's crazy out there!
P.S. One of the best parts of coming home was seeing Ginger! Yeah! Ginger's in da howze!

Glad you made it home ok.
I remember (like yesterday) a horrid flight I was on once. A quick (60min) flight from Fresno to L.A. La la la... everything fine... talkety talk, everyone talkety talk... then the plane drops (probably no more than 50ft down). Silence. Then turbulence. Silence. Then shaking. Then me holding onto the seat in front of me to brace. Silence. Gee, you look white. Silence. It went on for about 30 min. I kissed the ground. :)
Ack I can't like flight turbulence. I just can't.
Yay for Ginger being in da howze! Take pics if you dress them up!
You were on a plane in that wind last night? Oh my goodness. Some of those gusts were hurricane level. Wow. Glad you made it safely.
Awwww, you have Ginger. Send pics!!
Yikes! Glad you made it OK.
I flew out on Monday and the plane was caught in some wind but nothing like last night. Can't even imagine, don't want to imagine.
Was lucky on my return too - came in at 2am sunday so missed the craziness.
