To change,
to breathe,
to become,
to step out of security and into new,
to cross borders,
to become self reliant,
to make it for myself,
to explore,
to grow
and to learn.

to leave something behind
to manifest something new

Today I quit my job.
My 13 years at one agency job.
(and I love what I do)
but it’s time for change
and all of the things I listed above.

I leave…
amazing clients
lovely coworkers
steady job
good pay.

I will find…
With all of this my heart overflows with love for my partner, whose belief in me, and support of me, is helping make this happen.

It sounded like you were leading up to something but I didn't expect this.

Best of luck! I'm sure everything will work out for the best. Better yet you get to be off work for the holidays. I'm jealous.

I always had faith in you, even when the little voices talked you down :)

I better resume the snarky comments on your blog or people will start thinking I like you.

Wow!! Your pronouncement has left me speechless so all I can think to say is this trite saying, "nothing ventured, nothing gained". Yeah, that's it, it's your fault that I can't come up with anything witty. ;-)

I bow to your courage and faith.

I *love* your poem!

Wow. Rock ON! I did a similar thing a couple years ago, stunned everyone and left 'em in jealous puddles. And you know what? It was the best thing I ever did. And they're still there, drowning in jealousy because they're too afraid to make the moves that will make their dreams come true. So KUDOS galore, LeLo. I hope your changes turn out to be as positive as mine did!

I agree with Toady Joe; I think you're going to discover that this is one of the best things you've ever done.

Everybody says they want to change or want things to change, but fewer people have the chutzpah to actually do something about it. Cheers to Lelo in NoPo!!!

I literally gasped when I read that. That's a big step, I applaud your courage and wish you the best.

Wow LeLo. I know, I know, a day late and a dollar short (my own soul searching has left me a little behind the times in the blogosphere). I'm inspired and excited to read about the next several chapters in your life. Congratulations!
