Something from the 80’s I can’t let go of…
Why do I still have this shirt? This is from high school. The famous Espirit brand must be the reason I continue to hang onto it (?!)….and yes, it fits me a little, err, differently now. I remember wearing this to the Drive-In. Very cool.

A picture of me from the 80’s…
Keep in mind that if the picture didn’t crop where it does, the hair would keep going about another 8 inches. I worked that hair like nobody’s business. Colored, permed, blow dried, scrunched, and curled. With the help of my good buddy Sebastian (the 2 foot tall white can of hairspray), we got that hair amazingly big. I love this picture for the jewelry the most. This was the late 80’s, BTW, and I believe my 21st birthday.

A CD from the 80’s…
Loved me some Oingo Boingo and the freakish beauty of Danny Elfman. Today he’s the name you see on the score for The Simpsons and most of Tim Burton’s movies. (I wish I had the Pretty in Pink soundtrack to show for this entry: CLASSIC!)

Love all your stuff! I think i had a similar shirt!lol
I had *that* espirit shirt.
I'm not kidding.
I would *totally* have bought that shirt, too, had I run across it! I had a shirt from high school (with horizontal stripes also) until 2001! B made me throw it out when we moved. I know horizontal stripes are supposed to be a fashion "don't" but I love 'em.
The hair. Classic--and crispy (I'll bet).
I believe I got my hoop earrings at Claire's Boutique, a favorite haunt for my younger self. *Shudder* Where did you get yours?
Half of the house was a chemical disaster after she was done with that hair in the morning. She is single handedly responsible for the hole in the Ozone over Ventura County.
Dear Lord. I almost had to adjust my computer screen to see the 80's hair!!
LOL
I still love Oingo Boingo! Danny has a replica t-rex skull as a coffee table stand in his living room, which is just about the coolest thing ever.
I remember when a striped top was like, totally a fashion statement. You just know that thing looked hot at the Drive In.
And your hair? Mucho Beauty. Sebastian and Joico rocked the party.
I love the photo of You! So Madonna!
Oingo Boingo --- totally fabulous!
I love Boingo- they were a local LA band that rocked! The photo of you is GREAT!
